Adoption
Is legal act of permanently placing child with parent or parents other than birth (or "biological") mother or father. Adoption severs parental responsibilities and rights of birth parent(s) and transferring them to the adoptive parent(s). After the finalization of the adoption, there is no legal difference between adopted children and those born to parents.
Several Kinds:
- Open or Closed Adoption
- Domestic or International Adoption
- Stepparent Adoption
