Contested
Husband and wife can't agree on one or several issues related to termination of marriage, even with legal assistance. Since the couple have no agreement, they must take their issues to a court to be decided:
Uncontested
Husband and wife agree on each item and issue related to end of marriage. There are no issues for the court to decide. This doesn't mean that divorce amicable, but it does mean that all the issues have been resolved without going to court.
